Douglas B. Pulley, M.D. has been practicing medicine in San Jose for over twenty-five years. He helps his patients in the medical and surgical treatment of Cataracts, Glaucoma and Diabetic Eyes including in-office laser surgery. He performs comprehensive family eye care including complete eye exams, contact lens fittings and diagnosis of eye problems. Dr. Pulley's office offers an optical department with a large variety of fashion eyewear and contact lenses, including color lenses and mono-vision.

Dr. Pulley received his Medical degree from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1970. He entered his internship at UCLA hospital in 1971 and went on to specialty training at Wadsworth, V. A. Hospital and the Jules Stein Eye Institute in Los Angeles from 1973 to 1976.

Dr. Pulley has been certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology since 1977. He is a Fellow with the American Academy of Ophthalmology and also a member in good standing of the American Medical Association, California Medical Association, Santa Clara County Medical Association and the California Academy of Ophthalmology.

He has privileges at area hospitals including Good Samaritan, Mission Oaks and Community Hospital of Los Gatos. In his spare time, Dr. Pulley enjoys spending time with his wife of 38 years and his family. His other interests include church work, raising and breeding orchids, woodworking and fishing. "I enjoy an active lifestyle. I'm not much of a spectator."
